What Paisa does
Paisa reads Indian bank SMS entirely on your phone, parses every credit and debit with an explainable rule engine, and turns them into a dashboard, a daily transaction feed, self-filling budgets, and a full monthly report. Nothing is ever uploaded — there is no account, no login, and no cloud sync.
Every parsed message keeps a numbered “How we read this SMS” trace, so you can see exactly why a transaction was categorized the way it was. When a message is genuinely ambiguous, Paisa sends it to a review queue instead of guessing — you confirm in-or-out once, and it learns.
The parser covers ~30 sender codes across HDFC, ICICI, SBI, Axis, Kotak, Yes Bank, PNB, IDFC, IndusInd, Federal, Canara, Union, BOI and Paytm — UPI, cards, NEFT, salary credits and more — with foreign-currency spends converted to INR at editable rates.
